The online trading solution KTS was designed and developed by Georgi’s team 16 years ago. We started with development of a Rich Windows Forms interface with Infragistics controls. Then we moved to a WCF Publish-Subscribe Pattern dual http binding protocol. Since it was in the early age of Microsoft Azure platform and there was not a stable Web socket solution we managed to broadcast server to client messages via a SSH Server and a client library package in the Windows Forms application. The final touch of the system implementation was to develop a C++ based library for integration with XETRA Gateway.
The outcome of 7 months of work was that we delivered a stable solution which was able to process orders from client to XETRA and vice versa for up to 15 ms. After stabilizing the platform we moved to the development of a JGrid MVC mobile view for client usage on different OS.
We also were asked to develop a Mobile High Available infrastructure to support real time trading on native iOS and Android OS. The solution is based on two Windows Server nodes, SignalR Redis Cache store and server to server direct Web socket connection to core WCF service layer written with 3.5 framework. Generally speaking the system is still the fastest one on the market.
There are plans for upgrading the platform with containerization and chromium multi platform solution.
